The Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear set a lap record for homologated production cars at Gotland Ring during its first shakedown laps on June 16, 2025.

The vehicle used was one of the Sadair's Spear test cars, driven by Development Test Driver Markus Lundh. The 7.3 km (4.5-mile) Gotland Ring is renowned for its challenging layout and dynamic terrain, blending fast straights with technically demanding corners. Nestled on Sweden’s largest island, this eco-conscious circuit features sweeping curves and significant elevation changes, putting both driver skill and vehicle performance to the test.
