Official launch of the CC8s

The official launch of the Koenigsegg® CC8s( VIN YT9M1G0V8A1007XX1) took place at the Paris Autoshow between 30 September to 15 October 2000, but there was another much more important event happening that year:

‍Christian and Halldora von Koenisegg got married !

Later the car was shown at AutoRAI 2001, February 8-18, as well as the Göreborgs Motorshow by February 21-25.

It was also on display at the Essen Motorshow, Novembwer 30 - December 9 2001.

By end of...

this CC-Prototype was than finaly used for the crash tests in September 2002 to receive the EU-Homologations. Interesting thing is, that on paper "this" car was acquired by an employee February 7, 2003 (after the car was used for crash tests).
