Koenigsegg Automotive AB was founded 12th of August 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg in Sweden.

He initially financed his dream by reinvesting money, previously earned throu his other business ventures and receiving $200 thousand from the Swedish technical development board. In addition and by great support, Christian's father Jesko became an early investor for the first years to come.
