TOP GEAR - Part I

By 2003 Jerremy Clarkson from TOP GEAR had his first shot in the first CC8s, being the pilot of the to become GHOST SQUADRON

First appearing in Series 2 Episode 7 (22rd June) Jeremy tested the car and took it to 174 MPH on the runway before describing it as the "most angry, bad-tempered, recalcitrant and twitchy car I've ever tested". On the track it posted 1:23.9 in the hands of Black Stig, had it not spun at the end it could have gone even faster.

This was just the beginning of many other "tests" done by TOP GEAR in the years to come.
